Textielmuseum Tilburg

Textielmuseum was great and I was really looking forward to it again. I'm a big fan of Tilburg and Noord Brabant in general. There can be found a lot of knowledge (about craftmanship) in the South of the Netherlands.

We got the same tour as always which is fine. Always good to refresh so now and then. During the tour we saw Lizan Freijsen in really working on her famously mold-lookinglike carpets.

The workshop we got about sashiko was fun. And easy and good looking way to repair jeans. The technique itself isn't that diffilcult at all, but the way this upgrade your garment instead of keeps it the same is dope.
