Explaining my expo plan & making bioplastic clouds
Intro
This week I will be thinking of how I can present my piece with photo's and table setups. I'll be making fake clouds from bioplastic that will hang in the air to fill up my landscape.
Recipe bioplastic clouds
6 teaspoons of Agar
24 ml Glycerine
160ml water
6 pushes of white soap
I let the foam stand for about 3 days to see if it would shrink or change a lot, when it didn't I decided that this was the right recipe to make the clouds with. To hang up the clouds I wanted to make threads from funghi but unfortunately I couldn't find anything about it on the internet, although I was pretty sure I read something about it before. Instead I now used macrame thread which is made from hemp and cotton, pretty bio-friendly, I thought.
I did use a gluegun to apply the thread to the ceiling because I couldn't find a better way to do this. This is the only thing in my project that is not bio-friendly!

For now I just made the pictures look very modern, white and taut. But I would also like to make pictures of my product standing in nature.

In de miniatuur wereld worden landschappen gemaakt met producten waarvan ongeveer 95% daar van zeer schadelijk zijn voor het milieu zoals epoxy, plastic, piepschuim en nog vele andere producten. Deze landschappen worden in vele soorten communities gebruikt; architecten maken deze landschappen om hun ideeën te tonen aan opdrachtgevers maar zo zijn er ook modelbouw hobbyisten en de Warhammer community. De milieu onvriendelijke producten waarmee deze miniatuur landschappen worden gemaakt zou ik graag willen vervangen met bioplastics. Hoe kunnen miniatuur landschappen op een meer milieu vriendelijke manier worden gemaakt en het niet ten koste gaat van de esthetiek?

Hoe kunnen de miniatuur landschappen die in verschillende communities worden gemaakt (zoals Warhammer, architecten en modelbouw hobbyisten) op een meer milieu vriendelijke manier worden geproduceerd?

Titel: Bioplastic landscape
De bioplastic landscape zal in een kubus zitten. Dit is omdat ik er graag zeker van wil zijn dat mijn product niet uit elkaar valt onderweg naar school. Ook denk ik dat dit er netter uit zal zien met als zonder. Daarnaast heb ik van alle elementen die in het landschap zitten kopieën die zich buiten de kubus zullen bevinden zodat dit hier aan kan worden gevoeld. Verder heb ik nog een papiertje met daar op alle verf die ik heb gebruikt en de ingrediënten daarvan. Bij elk element zal een zelfde soort bordje staan waarop staat beschreven wat het is.
Fusion 360
I tried making my table plan in Fusion first because I thought that would make a better impression of how it looked like. But it took a bit too much time for just a simple plan so I decided to finish it by just sketching.
